Regardless of how you look at it, there is no way to prove whether or not a god or gods exist / don’t exist. Therefore, as cliché as it might be, I find Pascal’s wager to be the safe bet to take.

Best case scenario, you die and nothing happens. Worst case scenario, you die and maybe get unlucky by choosing the incorrect god out of the countless gods that mankind has come to revere.

Maybe the Celtic Pagans were right. Maybe the Slavic Pagans are right. Maybe the desert god is the right god. At the end of the day, I find having any sort of faith helps me feel like I have a father figure watching over me and rooting for me to succeed... it’s weird to explain, but having faith fills me with a weird sort of confidence I never had when I was an atheist.
