In order to gain his freedom before the 10years he must figure out a way to pay off 100000 million in fines. This series from Russian author Vasily Mahanenko is 7 books long. The story line of the first few books in this series is amazing. After around book 3 or 4 the quality of the books goes down in my opinion, though the cliffhanger in book 5 is quite crazy. Being written by a Russian and translated into English the story can be culturally jarring. The narration is on point. Over all I would recommend these books if you are a veteran reader of LITRPGs.
