Ascend Online - Book 1 By: Luke Chmilenko Narrated by: Luke Daniels Sci-Fi / LitRPG Yet another Lit RPG series, these are quite plentiful these days. A new VRMMO launches and our main character decided to play on launch day, nothing new there. The MC takes to long in creating his character and is forced to spawn in a town several days away from the normal starting point due to a global quest that has locked the starting city. As the story goes this is your basic LitRPG. MC starts playing and has adventures while leveling up. The things that this book has going for it is the narration is excellent and the writing was surprisingly good. Intense action sequences and witty dialogue really make this book. As I said before the plot is your basic cookie cutter MC leveling and building up a town, it's just damn entertaining. Any way the narrator Luke Daniels is one of my favorites and he once again delivers a great performance.
