Swarm - Star Force Book 1 By: B. V. Larson Narrated by: Mark Boyett Military SciFi Kyle Riggs is abducted by an alien space ship that is testing people to find a new captain. The ship kills the weak and will only accept the strong. After making it through the trials, Kyle finds him self embroiled in a war to save the earth and possibly the galaxy. The over all plot of this first book is very interesting and I liked the concept. The main character's reactions to some of the things in the book felt a little unrealistic and took me out of the story. As a series, these books go strong for the first 3 or 4, but after awhile the story seems a bit forced. The narration is superb as usual for Mark Boyett.
