In honor of the audio for the last book in this series being released tomorrow I present my audiobook review of: Super Powereds book 1: Year 1 By Drew Hayes Narrated by Kyle McCarley Superhero / Sci-Fi In a world of Supers (people who can control their powers) and Powereds (those who can't). 5 powereds under go an experimental procedure to give them control of their powers. These 5 'super-powereds' then enroll into the Hero Certification Program to hopefully one day become superheros. Basically college for superheros. The story follows the 5 through their 4 year college career with each book being a year of college. This is a fun series with lots of character development and some insane fight scenes. Tons of new powers, things like gravity control or the ability to control probability. There is a mystery woven throughout the series that kept me guessing for over 100 hours of audiobooks. Each book in this series is massive, the first book clocking in at around 26hrs and the last book at +60hrs. The narration took a bit to get used too, but the range of voices Mr. McCarley is able to provide makes up for his quirks. All in all If you are a fan of superheros you will enjoy these books. 4 main books and one spin-off.
