I wouldn't buy bitcoin right now, I would wait, it will most likely fall back down to 20k or so in the not so distant future, It will probably pump to 100k in 2 years or so. It's going to go through another cycle.
I bought back when it was $900 each, blew up my portfolio 10x with altcoin trading, and was selling when it was 7-19k. It fell back down to 3k, and now is pumping back up to 2x the last rally. It has done this many times, and will continue to do so, just don't expect to make any money anytime soon buying at the current highs.
This time is a little different with institutions buying, PayPal, greenlit by us gov, etc.
You are probably right, but who knows is this is a dead cat or just some profit taking on the way to higher before the drop.
The Winklevoss twins were doing that stuff last pump. It's not really any different, just scaled up a bit.
