That will be the story huh? Perhaps it was those who created the CBDCs and those who are stupid enough to use them who created the problem. Nothing wrong with a pure store of wealth... It is the CBDC bastardization that is the problem. Enjoy your CBDC. Or enjoy BTC. The choice is yours.
CBDC or BTC. There's no difference in how they control you. Gold backed currency with a fixed gold pricing is the only way to go. Digital (((currency))) is just a means to an end on controlling your purchases. And both CBDC and BTC (and all other crypto) requires connectivity which is how they will control you. And they'll just outlaw all other (((cryptocurrencies))) to ensure CBDC is the only game in town. You will not have a choice. Now keep on believing in your (((bitcoin))).

So you want chunks of metal that are effortlessly confiscated? How did that work out in the 20th century? Gold was made as illegal as crack cocaine is today and kept that way all the way until the ?80s? completely against the Constitution. Everyone turned their gold in for dirty paper. Those who didn't became criminals. The problem is not gold or silver or BTC or CBDCs... IT IS GOVERNMENT. Literally any private currency tool that is not easily inflated would make an excellent currency. Gold (which I have a fat stack of) is great in a grid down situation. BTC is excellent for an informational/digital economy. It is dirt cheap, instant and secure. The problem is not either of those it is a currency that is used and controlled by governnemts to enslave us all.
I would LOVE a gold standard. I would flourish under one. I would love a BTC standard right alongside it! I want them both! I like to see gold-backed crypto currencies and have used them more than once as a hedge because gold is such a steady sideways-dog relative to the dollar with a bit more upside and much less opportunity for destruction. I encourage anyone here reading this to not get married to any one currency and instead to seek out ALL quality currencies. No exceptions! and learn to use them ALL against government and their tyrannical ways. Goldbugs and Bitcoin Cultists are the same people. We should definitely not compete and instead should work together to fight the real enemy.
CBDCs are coming. Nothing will stop it. Most people are going to use them and we will fall into mind-blowing tyranny when it begins. Neither BTC nor gold will stop this from happening. What is important is that there is a black market, hopefully a powerful one, that can fight the tyranny! We can build it NOW in the open. We can all learn and gain skills now with no risk. When CBDCs arise they are going to blame the collapse on crypto-currencies. Mark my words. Government will co-opt alllll the anti-government sound money gold lovers and get them to fight all the anti-government sound money BTCers like me. Literally the governments are going to pit you and I against eachother to the death while they beat us over the head with CBDCs.
Gold is sound money and BTC is sound money. Both of them have the fundamental features of sound money and can be used easily to destroy the debt based monetary system we have today if we all choose to work together to make it happen.
