But I'll still give disney credit during the " Renaissance era" for trying to capture the feel of the "golden age era" and trying to have some good messages in it that actually appealed to families. Now it's just "girl boss" moments and diversity messaging with new material and live action remakes. For instance Frozen was based off the Ice Queen. To your point the original story would have been more impactful instead of the new route of "women empowerment". Won't give them a dime of my money now and my family steers clear of the new stuff unless heavily vetted by me first.
