As in all conflicts the ground forces are considered expendable in almost all situations or even more evil are put there to be sacrificed for the narrative as the script dictates.

All the more true if the ground forces consist of people not of the same ethnic group of the attackers. The CCP does not even have regard for their own people, so why would they not sacrifice others wholesale?
