All politics is local politics. This is how politicians end up spending their last few minutes looking down at the pavement between their feet, in a slowly swinging arc, about three feet down.
I know you don't think so but when the Presstitutes get on TV and start preaching about how this is all the fault of the truckers, yes, people will believe it. Proof? The last 2+ years of COVID.

Starvation is a means of population control. No food means no energy to fight and any fighting spirit will be directed at those around you and not the government.
Who do you think will starve first? The government supporters in their cities, or the truckers living out in farm country surrounded and supported by their neighbors?
