It's actually just a small minority of truckers protesting. Goods are still being delivered. Sure, the industry is already short drivers, so it is a strain, but it's not like the vast majority are striking.

I think it's about the violence. If a few truckers are killed, many of the guys who are working now might stop.
I might think you're a dick and you're misguided, but I don't think any Canadian wants to see people die.
