Both cats are black actually. My son wanted to name the big one after the dinosaur in that Jurassic Park movie. That's also why his sister (the cat's sister) is named Echo.

Yes, I am well aware the cats are fat (especially Blue). Unfortunately I'm not sure what to do about it. I've tried limited feeding, but Blue gets all stressed out and starts pissing everywhere. They're indoor cats and I give them a really health mix of dry food (a good portion of it specifically for indoor cats). I was giving them wet food for a while but stopped that quite a while ago. Any ideas?

Ah they look blue plus the name..haha. I have a couple black cats; my biggest cat is solid black; a great cat too. I do have a cat that if she were able to she'd eat herself to death. Literally.

Maybe boil a chicken and start giving them that in a bowl a couple times/day and cut back a little on the dry food. The pure protein might help them feel full longer and they won't crave that dry kibble as much. If they're happy and Blue is a food addict I wouldn't stress them by changing their diet.

Cool idea. I'll try the chicken thing. Thanks.
