You know what? Steam is such a huge gaming platform, out of all companies, they should have just told the CC companies to fuck themselves, filed a lawsuit, opened up a new payment processor (parallel economy) and plastered on the front page of their website and Steam app that CC companies are trying to keep you from buying games and to boycott them.

They have enough people using the platform that they could kill entire game studios if they just decide to not carry a game.

Oh, for ref, No. I don't like that they have "porn games" it's not about that though. It's about some 3rd party deciding they can ban anything they don't like. Next it would be games with guns. Or games that don't have LGBTQIA+ (pedo) representation. Etc...

>If you recently tried to purchase a game on Steam, perhaps you noticed that you can no longer use PayPal as remittance. It's not a temporary bug, but another consequence of Steam's ongoing battle with payment processors like Visa and Mastercard. In a quote provided to Rock Paper Shotgun, Valve clarified that the disappearance of PayPal is related to offering specific types of "content on Steam," much like the issue "surrounding Mastercard." They should open their own gamers bank, payment processor and credit card company that has interest rates like 0-9%, you know, somewhere in the range of prime rate, and just take out all the pricks who fuck with normal people.

IDGAF about the porn games, but their existence is like a canary in a coal mine.
