The pope's official title is: VICARIUS FILII DEI

VICARIUS = substituting for or in the place of FILII = son DEI = God

His title means: One who stands in the place of the Son of God.

His official title is blasphemy in itself as the Bible tells us that our relationship with Christ is a direct one and none can stand in place of Christ or God.

Revelations 13:1

Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name.

The Pope's name is blasphemy. Vatican city sits in Rome, 10 miles inland from the Tyrrhenian sea.

Revelations 13:2

Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.

Elsewhere in Revelations it is made clear the dragon is Satan.

Revelations 13:3

And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast.

The beast has suffered a wound that should have killed it but it overcame that wound. The overcoming of the wound caused many more people to follow it. Has the papacy ever suffered a wound from which it should have been destroyed? Maybe. But wouldn’t this wound be visible to the people at the end of times as a means of convincing people to believe?

Revelations 13:4-5

4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” 5 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months.

The people worshiped the beast (church? Papacy?, I think so). The beast spoke blasphemies, which is something the Catholic church has been doing for a very long time. Indulgences are blasphemy, as is acceptance of homosexuality, tolerance of child molestation, etc. Really, the church has become more blasphemous in just the last ten years.

42 months is 3.5 years. Elsewhere a span of 3.5 years is mentioned (the time the two witnesses have before their murder by the Beast of the Sea (Revelations 11:3).

I think the coming of the two witnesses is the beginning of the 7 years of tribulations, their murder marks the half-way point, and then the Catholic Church reigns in blasphemy and heresy for 3.5 years. When the witnesses come, Christ will be born again (Revelations 12:1-6). Have these witnesses been spotted? I haven't seen any news yet but it is early still.

Revelations 13:6-8

6 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

The beast rises in power to rule the world. It is a theocratic rule under a single world government. All who worship the beast have no place in Heaven. The beast demands worship of himself over worship of God. Think back to the pope's official title above.

11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.

The beast of the earth acts as a force serving the beast of the sea, possibly a military component for the beast of the sea or perhaps one of the unified kingdoms of the earth serving as the beast's enforcement arm. This beast, empowered by the beast of the sea, performs "signs" to convince the world of his authority. To my mind, these signs sound like military strikes.

Something that must always be remembered, Satan is the dragon. Satan is the father of lies. To speak as a dragon is to speak lies. The first sin, the first act of evil in the entire Bible is an act of deception, a lie, told by the serpent in the Garden of Eden.

Revelations 13:14-15

14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. 15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

The people of the earth make an image of the beast of the sea (Catholic church?) and this image is granted power to speak, causing people to worship it and causing those who do not worship it to be killed. My sci-fi influenced brain makes me think these are robots, manufactured idols with the power to speak and kill those who do not obey. Think: an AI controlled form of thought-police that incorporates religious imagery.

Revelations 13:16-18

16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

This goes back to the title of the pope above. Also, I think this is tied to World Patent WO2020060606. This patent is for an implantable microchip for human application. Specifically, this is for a chip tied to crypto-currency that awards the tagged human with money for doing certain things unspecified in the patent.

The beast of the sea is not Satan. He's a pawn, tool of Satan, empowered by and influenced by Satan.

Closing thoughts:

I don't think the beast of the sea has suffered the near-mortal wound yet. I think when the Catholic church suffers a blow that nearly ends its existence and then quickly recovers, we will be to the point of Revelations 13. I think we are somewhere in the 6th seal now, probably towards the end of it. We will know when the stars in the heavens fall to the earth and every mountain and island is moved out of its place (Revelations 6:12-14). I also think once the events of Revelations 6 happen everything is going to unfold very quickly.

As for current events, if the Great Awakening happens as we all hope it does, that could be the blow that mortally wounds the church. We may have a reprieve of a few decades.
