The british are well aware of this fact, the Scottish claimed descent from the Scythians in the Arbroath Declaration. The English knew this too, the historian Sharon Turner said that the Scythians were the ancestors of the Anglo Saxons in the History of the Anglo-Saxons written in 1799 - 1805.
So much of our history has been hidden from us, the victors write the history.
You are absolutely correct. The Greeks, Romans, and many others wrote of this too.

Ah yes I have watched many of these videos already. It seems like many people know our ancestors are from Scythians or Phoenicians but they don't understand the Israelite connection. Here's some more good links on the topic:
