It is exaggerated, but I had a job on Wall Street and Water Street 10 years ago when there was a lot of flooding from Sandy and that whole area of lower Manhattan was under like 18 inches of water. Building lobbies were all flooded. Engineers are currently working on a sustainable solution. It ain’t New Orleans, but it’s a real problem.
