I remember suggesting to the city planners that they plant fruit-bearing trees rather than ornamental bushes along some of the roads and maybe in the park - so people could go pick some fruit off the trees if hungry.

The city didn't do it, of course. I guess they thought the fruit would be troublesome to clean up and the trees more costly to maintain.

I’ve been saying trees are the answer for many years, both with CO2 and heat. I don’t care about saving lives. Author is somewhat of an idiot though to think windmills are used as fans, they were used as mills for grain.
