Salt spray isn't exactly something that's abnormal in the atmosphere. Happens any time there's a strong wind over the ocean. I also doubt the source from a single ship would have significant environmental impact; at worst it'd produce a detectable effect.
I doubt the climate change narrative and I don't think cloud brightening is necessary but IMO this might've been shut down more because it doesn't further the involved money grab.

No? It's dissolved in water, it wasn't engineered. If it's not sea salt that would be one thing but the article says it's sea salt.
