Until Fiance zombies our computers together, I'm stuck on my phone.

I've been cutting back on the time I spend on the computer, sharing a computer hasnt been so bad. But now neither of us have one until we fix it.

Now he will have to figure out how to exist without a computer.

I'm somewhere between modern nerd and old fashioned workaholic, I can always find a way to stay busy. But it will be kinda interesting to see what Fiance does without a computer.

Yeah I used to come home from work (in sales) and install linux so I could fix my broke computer all night, finally the wife says go get a job in computers, now I just spend all day working on broke shit vendor software breaking our systems, then spend all night gaming or upgrading my "broke" computer.

I'd say nothing kills a hobby like getting paid for it.

That is true. My fiance is extremely good at videogames, pro level. I tried getting him into streaming the games he played. He did that on twitch for a couple months but gave up on it after becoming quite popular because he hated it. Fair enough.

Not for me, I guess it more than a hobby and always was, problems are like puzzles, I just enjoy every one I complete whether paid or free (don't tell my boss that though, might affect my pay)

It's the way you have to do it when you don't want too, I guess. Not a problem if you AlwAyS want to.

Is it better than what you were doing before? Was the old lady confused by your desire to work on computers as a hobby despite the career you ended up in?

Nah, sales sucked the life out of me, moving into IT was the best career decision I've made. She knows me better than I do.
