Of 39 salt brands tested, 36 had microplastics in them, according to a new analysis by researchers in South Korea and "Greenpeace East Asia."

lol

yeah, pretty sure if you go around pissing on research sponsored by "Big ___<industry>" then you also have to piss on research sponsored by Greenpeace et. al.

You're so wound up in your ideology that you think they'd lie?

The result is pretty obvious given all the information about microplastics in drinking water, air and the ocean.

If you want to be taken seriously, you should consider posting links showing serious research. (Tip: you chose one of the worst)

Says the fool who thinks the world's climate research is a sham funded by Jews.

I don't need to taken seriously by you. The material is there for those with common sense.

I don't think this is such a big deal. After all, people intentionally take Miralax, which is made of Polyethylene Glycol 3350, a microplastic. It just comes out the other end. We don't digest it.

I wouldn't be surprised if studies come out at some point in future saying it shrinks testicles.

Not absorbed by the body means only constipation shrinks.

Not absorbed by the body might just mean you're naive.

We are told not to use various plastic drinking bottles because they leach BPA into our water. If you cut those bottles into tiny pellets and ate them, you would also shit them out, but likely absorb some nasty shit along the way.

If your diet is so poor that you suffer from constipation, just eat more fruit and veges, rather than eating plastic and imagining it's safe.

Table salt is mined, not from the ocean, so this is bullshit unless they are using a plastic, eg. polyethylene in the equipment used to powder or blend the salt.

A new study looked at sea, rock, and lake salt sold around the world.

Clearly it's not all mined. You'd guess the rock salt would be less polluted, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Groundwater contamination could be possible - I can't be bothered looking into the details.
