Yeah I liked that show, but its really true it was. Honestly if you think about it all the stuff they did with those rings would fuck with the environment pretty badly too.

Most cartoons are pretty scary to watch as an adult while considering the effect on children. The whole good-guy bad-guy dichotomy + focusing on the power of the individual does look a hell of a lot like indoctrination designed to keep people powerless and subservient. Looking at the state of the world, I'd guess it's been pretty effective.
