Most cartoons are pretty scary to watch as an adult while considering the effect on children. The whole good-guy bad-guy dichotomy + focusing on the power of the individual does look a hell of a lot like indoctrination designed to keep people powerless and subservient. Looking at the state of the world, I'd guess it's been pretty effective.
