Scare tactics are very effective when you know your audience. It's a damn shame that rational thought wasn't, and still isn't dominant, when it comes to understanding the mechanisms of climate. The left still uses computer models that have not proven accurate, while conservatives are actually reducing emissions with the move to solar and wind power and away from coal. The MSM just misrepresents reality, almost all the time. Those fools want to tax people and put the money in their own pockets with nutty carbon credits. We're doing fine on our own, thanks. Now if only the third world and China would hop on the "we want to breath clean air" bus, things would get better around the world.
