Well on the shill thing, I will say a few people have said the same of you.
I have not met him in person yet but there are active plans in the works for that. We are very very far apart geologically, which actually works out rather well for poal as someone is always able to be watching. I have considered those things, I also know what does for a living, as he knows what I do for a living. We know each others names family members names and we have spent countless hours actually talking to each other(not through text but voice) about many many things outside just the website.
I can quiet confidently say he is not a shill, he is a very smart individual who has some very valuable talents, believe me I do not take any of this lightly and I am very careful who I give the keys to the kingdom so to speak.
You must have skills and you must earn my trust and you must be willing to essentially dox yourself to me. Otherwise you don't get on the admin team.
I've thought about adding more admins to help out, but the only people I would trust at the moment I don't think would even want the job.
I'm taking the time to tell you this in hopes you two can find something you find common ground on and can see that each other are just people trying to find their way in the world and even if you disagree you are both just people.

If he's a smart person, , and that's a much bigger problem than him being stupid.
Disagreements on political issues are minor - trust and character are important, and obviously there can be no trusting those without character.

better things to do than talk on poal?!? Never! In all seriousness I have more time right now than usual, and soon probably more than that as I'll have a small person who spends most of their time sleeping on me quite frequently.
He is genuine, I can promise you that and he is very intelligent, things that you know to be fact are not known to be fact to everyone, for example the average IQ in africa is 70, this is a fact its been tested a number of times and has proven to hold true, now what this means is really nothing. However if I were to go onto say reddit and state that fact I'm sure it would illicit similar responses to how you two respond to each other. My point being not everyone likes facts that are presented too them, nor do they always accept them right away. Sometimes it takes time and repetition, and some times you might even find things you thought were facts are not so. We are all learning none of us knows it all.
When you get back and see this feel free to drop me a response. Judging by when you generally post I'll probably be at work so I'll welcome the distraction as it will probably be very boring at that point being as I usually complete all my work well before 6 and I am required to stay much later than that.
