There's life miles below the ocean floors... we'll most likely die out with a whimper well before we can physically destroy the entire planet. Complex life should rise again.

It would be pretty mindblowing for an intelligent successor species to be digging up the signs of our ancient, more-advanced but extinct civilization.

For sure, but they'll also be digging up computers, and industrial robots: crazy unbelievably complex shit they would never have dreamed of.

100s of thousands if not millions computers and robots would rust away.
