I used to have a house in the high desert

A young couple moved into the house across the street and really did a great job on the yard and made the place look very nice

She got pregnant and they flipped the house and moved on

The lady who bought the place wanted to like, return the property to nature or something so she had all the work undone.

The young couple had hauled all the rocks away and made the yard look nice and this lady paid to have boulders hauled in, removed all the grass, and planted sagebrush. Basically made the yard look like a dry riverbed. She used to spend a lot of time pulling weeds from that yard because the previous owners had made the land so fertile it wasn't desert anymore
