Pole Barn

So I built a pole barn for hay, check it out.

Doubled out 2×8 sits in the notch to make a header >> http://picinfinity.co/d/a621db3c-7d59-4e3e-8f83-1659e944135c.jpg

Then a 2×8 band on the inside and another laid flat on top. After that pull up the trusses with some rope and nail them in place>> http://picinfinity.co/d/d3cee0c5-bd41-431d-86a7-64f14b832561.jpg

Well that was fun. 27ft to the top of the ridge. Not for the faint of heart.

Did you make the trusses yourself? And is it going to be a hay barn? Nice work man

Pre built trusses the guy had. And yes it is for hay

Okay cause they looked like the present built ones we would get. Was this a side thing or for work? Looks damn good. How far down did the poles go into the ground?

For work. I think he set the poles 4 to 5 foot deep
