This doesn’t seem bad, you’re initially going to hand a surge that needs to be treated and then a steady revenue in the billion every year for a drug that only cost a few hundred million to make and probably costs at max $10 per pill/9000 for 3 months but they charge $200,000 for a 90 day treatment. Those are huge profit margins.

But then:

The analyst went on to note that curing an infectious disease “also decreases the number of carriers able to transmit the virus to new patients, thus the incident pool also declines,” further leading to a decreased need for the treatment.

This is just pure evil, not wanting to cure people so they can infect others. We were just shut down and had to wear masks and forced to vax to save grandma over a cold.

It seems their reasoning is off also, if Gilead is maintaining 3-4 billion per year that’s increase off of one drug.

Insurance companies only agreed to pay the $200,000 for a course since it had a 90% cure rate and would save them money long term with patients racking up 100,000’s over thousands in hospital and transplant bills.

There’s always going to be hepatitis C from I’ve drug use, sleeping with prostitutes and passing it on to spouses/girlfriends who then pass it on to others and the homosexuals.

And there will always be a steady flow of people with autoimmune diseases, those are increasing every year.

If you cure cancer or any other disease you can bilk them for more money when they get older for other diseases.
