The whole concept that the only valid waiver is a "religious" waiver is flawed. They have no right to coerce people to take shit, ever. No reason is necessary. If you want to force someone, who has not infringed upon anyone else's rights, to do something, you are in the wrong always. The whole "for the greater good" argument is bullshit, it's just a cheap excuse to use shame to coerce the populous to go along with their authoritarian schemes. Coercion, particularly using shame and fear, never end well. When someone is telling you to be afraid, they are trying to control you.
