Kary Mullis explicitly stated in public conference that the PCR process is not a test for infection, but that people are using it and misinterpreting the results to say people are infected with whatever they are looking for.
He was also against the whole HIV/AIDS shit and says it's never been proven that HIV is a propbable cause for AIDS. Pretty sure his take is that it's caused by vaccines and shit.
