I’m just trying to get an idea of the damage the covid vaccine mandates caused for people. Personally I quit my job due to a vaccine mandate and decided to relocate from where I was living. Even though I’m happy with my decision, the choice did come with costs in many forms.

Personally I quit my job due to a vaccine mandate and decided to relocate from where I was living. Even though I’m happy with my decision, the choice did come with costs in many forms.

I took the vaccine to keep my job
I quit/walked away from my job or line of employment/source of income due the vaccine mandates.
The vaccine mandates had no effect on me(self employed, retired, etc.)
Fuck you!
Fuck You!

Fuck you because there was no option for "I told them I won't take it and that was it".

When the initial vaxxing started I just told them that I have an medical condition that prevents me from getting the vax, after about half a year from it they tried to push me again and I just told them I won't take it since there I see no point in it, and if this means I won't keep the job so be it.

I kept the job.

Same here, told them they would have to fire me and provide written cause due to a clause in my contract and that I would be all over the class action train when it leaves the station.

Did the same - even in the face of EO 14042 (in the states); it was a tumultuous time. Fortunately, for those of us that actually know our rights, we knew the EO was illegal from inception. Thankfully, HR didn't press it after I pressed back - sought counsel for backup, and we left the fuck alone after that - had to jump through some hoops to satisfy client sites, but was pretty much left the fuck alone. Kept the job, and even split to another company - stuck to my principles and was let in just fine.

I did the same and kept my job.

I filed a religious exemption. They threatened to 'replace' us but never did. It really makes it difficult to care about working. I used to be a hard worker but now I do just enough to get by. They proved once and for all that they don't give a shit about me.

Same here. Kept my job and didn't let them jab me.

Told them to look for a successor in time, in case mandates would apply. Because there's no way no how I was going to take that shit. Still employed there.

Military here. I went through the whole religious waiver (and denial) process and was days away from disciplinary paperwork before the court injunction came in. I've deployed to Afghanistan and have numerous TDYs under my belt (temporary travel for civilians out there, measured in days or weeks).

I'm proud to say I'll be voluntarily separating at the end of this enlistment before my 20 years is up, after being both an asset to my coworkers and a massive pain in the ass to those above me.

I filed a religious exemption successfully. Otherwise would have walked away from job.

I did some testing for work but refused. They paid for it all. I missed a lot of concerts but fuck that. I know so many that got it just for this reason alone.

I LOVE live music. I boycotted them all fuck them.

A lot of the small venues near me were open. I still boycotted them when required a negative test though.

Current employer sent out a survey when the government was threatening to fine businesses over 50 employees daily for not enforcing the vaccine. Head HR guy told me the results showed 65% of the GLOBAL workforce hadn't taken it and wasn't planning on it. Almost half of those said they'd quit if forced to choose.

I guess it was either some really high up people saying that or they just figured they couldn't afford to lose more than half their employees so they just let it drop. With the suspicious amount of card stock I've found around the office, I'm betting I wasn't the only one making some "backup plans."

I still see job listings saying they want you to have it. Personally turned down one offer and three interviews because of it.

Our company basically told people to lie on their paperwork about the jab.

Am retired, so no effect. Hubby is airline captain. Threatened with termination. Filed Religious and medical exemption. Granted.

You forgot one

My company was anti vax and our leaders did everything they could to avoid having thier employees take it.

Result, very few at my company got sick.

I invested in cardstock for when I traveled instead.

My buddy left for a competitor who mandated the vax , had a vax, died from brain cancer a year later.

Brain cancer is both a euphemism and not a euphemism in this case.

I misled my employer into believing I had gotten the jab, otherwise I would have been unceremoniously fired/let go/whatever. After all my hard work. I should've left, but I didn't.

There was a clear divide between those who didn't want the clotshot and the others.

No one took a kung flu vaccine, because there isn't one. There is only an experimental mRNA injection. That is really just meant to sterilize people.

I took the jab to save my job but waited a couple months to see if anyone around me had side effects. Nobody did so I took it. I am older and done having kids. So far I've had no issues. I refused to get my kids jabbed though. If I could go back I probably wouldn't get it, but as I said I'm side effects free.

Do you get regular medical exams?

[–] 0 pt

Yes but I haven't had blood work in a while.

Glad you haven't had any complications.

I picked "had no effect on me" but I also turned down a $250k/yr job (after they gave it to me fully) cause it mandated the poison gene therapy.

[–] 1 pt

I'm not nearly at that level but I also turned down offers because they mandated the vaccine.

It's the first thing I ask a recruiter when they call now. Might as well cut bait early if needed.

[–] 0 pt

Yeah I would have bailed way earlier had I known but I was recommended by a friend so I didn't see their gay ass kiked job listing that said it was a requirement.
