Can you tell those HAM hobby guys to get off of citizen ban? They are seriously becoming a nuisance. Channel 19 is all but unusable because of them. It's tiring having to repeat myself to another driver because I got stepped on by someone 6 states away that got a new toy they want to play with. Mud Duck was enough but now there's a new crowd stepping on all of us that would genuinely like to use our channel.
They've got their antennas so juiced up that I can't even squelch them out. There are countless other channels they can use to play around and channel 6 is where they should be. Instead, I have to repeat myself "Back her down guys. Traffic is stopped at the 47" because some jackass steps on channel 19 with "Huuurrrr duurrr. I can hear yah loud in clear from Tampa, Florida! How does mine sound?!"
LOL I have a radio that can pick up CB and I tuned in for a bit - holy shit some of those guys are funny! But yeah, there are some apparent niggers (by way they talk) that have over powered rigs and antenna systems that just step over anyone local and destroy the channel. Probably can't even hear who is trying to talk back to them.
Do you have Tech license? 52 is always fun for traffic.
