With one exception when I had to accompany someone to a clinic, I never wore one the first time. I won't be participating.
I compromised my integrity and principles and only ever wore a compliance muzzle once also. It was much the same in that a family member went to the emergency room for a heart issue and I accompanied them. The murderer in scrubs at the hospital handed me a mask while walking us back to examination. I asked if it was required to enter and they said yes, though I doubt it actually was. If I wanted entry along with my family member then I had to wear it just to be present in the room. If I declined then I would have sat in the waiting room while they would have likely been back there murdering my family.
Same here. I was getting bloodwork done monthly and they wouldn't let me in the building without it. So dumb! I went with my bf for x-rays and they forced me to wear one while waiting and I nearly had a panic attack. I ended up just waiting out in the hot car. How on earth people could say it didn't impede breathing is beyond me. Plus I hate not being able to see half of people's faces. My brain just says they are fake for some reason.
I even called my hair place and asked them what the masking requirements were. They said since I refused they'd just stick me in the back. I guess they really didn't want to lose my business ;)
Most people here just laughed at the lock downs, but I still see people in masks out walking their dogs.
