I don’t see an incubation time mentioned in the article or the video I watched a few days ago. The only way it would work is with a long incubation and then a slow disease progression. But a lockdown in that circumstance after it was discovered would actually work. The problem even with a long incubation time would be once in the wild it would always be in the wild and you’d get outbreaks like with Ebola and these clowns would eventually catch it also.
