Paul Duncan, a former Notre Dame offensive lineman who had a brief NFL career with the Denver Broncos, has died aged 35 after he went into cardiac arrest while on a run in his neighborhood in Georgia.
That seems to get them a lot. They think they’re fine, then they try some strenuous physical activity and find out the hard way their cardiovascular system is shot. I’m seeing reports lately of people drowning. Those make sense. They get off their butts and try to swim for the first time in 9 months and learn what their new fitness level really is.
This one is odd because runners usually go running regularly. Maybe he had some nasty blood clots floating around his system and finally one of them got lodged in the wrong place.
running (morning run)
strenuous
You don't know what either of those things are.
