But, but, but, I thought the vax was supposed to make Covid less severe? Is killing us what they mean by "less severe?" We were told over and over just lately that even though the vax does not stop contraction of Covid, and even though the vax does not stop transmission of Covid, well by gum it sure enough reduces the severity of Covid. So death must be a reduction in severity, I guess. It's true that dead people feel no pain. Maybe that's the way the symptoms are "less severe."
Devil's advocate is as long as the percentage of population vaccinated is greater than percentage of deaths vaccinated, there could be a nonzero efficacy.
