There is no force here. You can rename it "compulsion", but it is irrelevant. He was given the option to take the job or not to. No force was used.

And no, I wouldn't take the jab because I've been in my current profession for two decades and was told I had to take it too and I didn't. And magically, I'm still employed, because I'm not a pussy.
