Something about baskets and eggs
buckle down, pay the most important shit first, kill what you can kill for a bit. If you just lost the oh shit fund, and possibly the savings, you can recover if you lived within your means anyhow.
I have faith I can make it all work out, but I broke my tooth moving lumber this week and had to pay over 500 bucks to get that fixed, then got two flats on the same day on the job site running over a board in the road with nails in it. On top of it being the first of the month when all bills are due. I’m owed a good amount of money from some work I did but this voyager thing could not have happened at a worse time. I’ve never been this financially broken before. Downer post, I know. Just hope someone learns the lesson I did, that if your money is not in your personal wallet you don’t actually own it
Wasn't meant to disparage. Was meant simply as a reminder and motivation. You got there before. You will again.
With hard work and sacrifice... Possibly many sacrifices depending upon what you believe in.
Snakrifices are easier. But may be outside your belief system.
Rip
Sorry to hear that you are in that Voyager boat. Sadly, Voyager lied about “Voyager” having FDIC insurance when it is only if their bank went out of business, plus that was only for USD. Looks like the end deal will be a 20% haircut but not in time to make urgent payments. The final deal could take months, maybe years. Lessons to be learned is get a hardware wallet and self custody. Might miss out of some gains but the risk was hardly worth the reward when you have no idea what degens are counter parties.
If you were a real investor you'd be watching the patterns and news and had pulled out last Nov-Dec.
I pulled out EVERYTHING because I saw what was happening and the crash is still coming. They're doing a different crash this time. They're slowly bleeding all of you. Giving you hope. It's a lie, a trick, biggest rug pull of all time. I wouldn't buy anything for 6 more months.
You forgot the first rule of crypto, which is to only put in what you can expect to lose.
I was holding it as USDC which is supposed to be a stable coin, not fully understanding that it wasn’t FDIC insured. But never expected the company to crash
Oh man the planets aligned against you. Sorry to hear that. My stablecoin bag is in BUSD right now, hoping binance stays strong.
