I came across this when, having suffered with erratic speed control on my Dremel, and almost resigned to buying a new one, I went in search of others who maybe had the same issue. Turns out it's pretty easy and modular replacement! Not nearly as quick as the video.

Good for you. So many toss these kinda things nowadays when in reality, with a little time and effort, they can be easily repaired. We now live in a throw away society ... men need to start doing what men have always done, fix stuff again, when possible. Most of it isn't rocket science.
