My sexy rusted princess wouldn’t start after the winter.

Replaced the Battery The firewall starter solenoid The battery cables And finally ground down the negative battery cable to the engine to metal to metal and the princess started.

Problem is the headlights won’t turn on and the windshield wipers are on/off.

Brake lights and blinkers work so it’s street legal. Any ideas on the electrical?

It’s not the fuses? It could be the fuses but the wipers work on/off meaning they are still getting power but not consistent.

Check your ground cables and battery to fuse box positives cable end to end. Check fuse box ground at chassis. Wipers likely ground to chassis as well, check it.
