My sexy rusted princess wouldn’t start after the winter.

Replaced the Battery The firewall starter solenoid The battery cables And finally ground down the negative battery cable to the engine to metal to metal and the princess started.

Problem is the headlights won’t turn on and the windshield wipers are on/off.

Brake lights and blinkers work so it’s street legal. Any ideas on the electrical?

It can be the wiper switch or the switches inside the wiper motor. Headlights too, make sure the connector is firmly on the headlight switch too.

Thanks

I have an 84 F150 and changed the wiper switch and it still doesn't operate properly, there are some shit in the damned motor itself that control wiper modes too. Bad design.....

Mine lasted for so long, I have a feeling it was the bad winter weather. My poor truck is starting to rust bad: when I bought her she was in mint condition with 70k miles
