Bought a new angle grinder a few months back. I had to wait to give it a spin so I wouldn't cover the house in concrete dust over the holidays.

Today I had some concrete to smooth out because Cleetus the Contractor said "eff it" when he poured it 50 years ago. Needed it smooth so I can tile the floor.

Angle grinder went through it like butter. Made my life so much easier than trying to chisel lumpy concrete up. I even had time to get started on tiling.

New power tools are heckin' awesome!

Please don't say heckin. Everytime I see...it, I see the downfall of Western civilization.

I've ground a lot of concrete (resurfacing). Good knee pads make a world of difference if you've got much to do.

Good tools are nice. A blessing even.

Thankfully not much today, but I have a couple larger areas I want to resurface later this year. Good tip on the knee pads - I'm getting too old to kneel on concrete.

Make sure you wear a face shield.

What brand did ya get?

Milwaukee. They cost a pretty penny, but I've never had the feeling "this tool is great except for..." with any of their tools.

I've also never encountered quality control or performance issues, which is particularly impressive for tough use cases like going cordless for angle grinders.
