From the post:

>Well it happened. PG&E has dropped the facade of necessary rate increases because of system upgrades, and they have come out and said what we knew all along: they only care about profits. Then they turn around and spit in our faces by telling us our bills are actually lower than they were a year ago. And if you really want to get your blood boiling, go read this nonsense from their CEO.

TL:DR, Solar is fucking expensive, and most normal people living paycheck to paycheck will never afford it, so bite the pillow and quit your bitching because the only people who can have solar are those who can treat it like their own little science project.

Yeah, I want a solar system with batteries but I intend to do far more of the work myself but even just in material costs.. Damn. That will only happen after I move out of this hellhole that steals a shit load of money from me in state income (and other) taxes first.

Hell, I could probably build this solar system in like 6 years based on just not paying the state income taxes. Fing commies.

Not my personal science project but I don't disagree. This is unaffordable for damn near everyone at this point.
