I have a year round creek running down my property line. Years ago I built a ram pump to try to pump water up the hill but I could only get it to go about 40 feet up the hill. Too much head pressure as the hill is over a hundred feet high and not enough drop in the creek to build up the pressure to go any further. It was fun and took up a lot of time for nothing in the end. Fun though.
