A snake handler came into the shop not too long ago showing us pics of snakes he’s caught all around the world. One pic was of his thumb all swoll up and full of puss from a rattler bite. He said Mexico makes an anti venom shot that works real well and way cheaper. We have these green Mojave rattlers and pink Mojave ones too that are aggressive bastards. They don’t always warn you either.
There was a vid a while back of a family hiking up the trail. Dad is pull’n up the rear, he sneaks up on the daughter with a fake snake on a long string that he hooks onto her. When she notices it she starts screaming and running like hell. Of course it just keeps following her. Pretty good dad joke!
Poor girl! I bet that didn't help her overcome her fear of snakes! The dad joke reminds me of my aunt who was deathly afraid of snakes. I was doing a slide show for my folks and a couple of visiting aunts and uncles when I was a kid. Had the big projector screen set up in the livingroom with the projector set up on a small table in the kitchen projecting through the doorway into the livingroom in order to get the slides to fill the screen. I forgot I had a close-up picture of a big green harmless garden snake ... when it came to that snake slide she let out a scream and just about fell out of her chair trying to get away from the screen! Lol! Dad and the uncles had a good laugh!
Lol, some of us are scared to death of snakes!
