An obligation in the moral sense, not legal, etc. A moral obligation.

Say a child is in the middle of a road. A car will eventually hit the child, but YOU have plenty of time to save the child. There is absolutely NO risk of you getting hurt.

Is it an obligation to save the child?

If you say yes, we're at "name the trait". (Why is it a moral obligation to save a child, but not an animal?)

If you say no, then I'm interested in hearing your morals.

Because I eat animals other than my own species

I don't know what you were trying to convey with this

Continuing the viable and able members of your species is an evolutionary obligation.

Eating meat is necessary to continue the viable and able members of man?

As and able bodied man who can create my own species why forfeit my life for that of a gambler that may not pay off in a healthy manner for mankind.

Have you ever been a first responder?

I sincerely don't know what you're trying to tell me. Veganism is unhealthy?
