Women are so easily to manipulate into being spokespersons for all kinds of ridiculous causes, that I firmly believe that she 100% believes the bullshit she's spewing.
Really think about it- if she was acting, and she actually eats meat, and the combative nature of Piers was unexpected, she probably wouldn't have looked like she was going to cry. She probably would've laughed.
Actors don't get that emotionally wrapped up in causes. The pretend they are, but you'll never see, say, Matt Damon about to burst into tears because someone is pwning him with teh logic.
All true. She went on his show thinking that she was going tp get to spew her talking points unopposed. Then Piers shut her down, repeatedly, and kept dragging her back to face the reality of the effects of her personal choices and actions. If there is anything that leftists hate, it's facing truth, facts and objective reality.
Mr. Morgan should seriously consider upping his personal security. He is now the enemy of people who are not widely known for their mental stability or restraint. He might even be moved to (horrors!) consider purchasing, and taking professional instruction in the use of a sidearm. That might lead to whole new vistas of new understanding for him.
I hope Piers gets hit by a fucking bus. I'll never forgive nor forget how he spent like a decade in MY HOMELAND telling me and mine that we're evil racists who need to give up our firearms. When he fucked off out of my country, it was a good day.
But I'll never forget all the people he turned anti-gun. The effects these talking heads have can be very, VERY far-reaching.
I understand and I felt the same way, believe me. But. "A liberal is just a conservative who hasn't been mugged yet." I have seen 180 degree conversions take place right before my eyes. I have brought people into the light myself, and all it took was one trip to the range. One of them was my own wife. There is a difference between the merely ignorant and/or misinformed, and the truly malign.
The ones I truly despise are those who profess to be anti-gun, but secretly own guns themselves. What they mean by "No guns" is "No guns (for you)." They've read Mao. They know very well that, "Political power speaks from the barrel of a gun, that is why we must ensure that all guns are controlled by The Party."
Some women will say something like, "Oh I could just never bring myself to hurt anyone."
Sure they could. Anyone can. You just have to push the right buttons.
Here's a useful thought exercise to use with women:
"You are in a locked 10'x10' room. Behind you are your two small children, a boy and a girl."
