"Irrefutable Proof That Michelle Obama Is a Man" is an American 24-minute documentary (indeed!) in the English language and this one was made back in 2014, so it is already over five years old. The title is pretty telling in fact and occasionally I wondered if this is just a little spoof, but no, actually they seem to be serious with this effort. From beginning to end, we see several photos of Michelle Obama and when this came out, Barack was still President of the United States of America, even if his second turn was moving closer to an end. Anyway, while we see the photos, we hear a female slightly robotic voice elaborate on her fingers, her shoulders and several other aspects (like a possible Adam's apple) that are more on the virile side and imply that she is a man. I mean, the likelihood is not 0%, I give them that, but it is as small as it gets and you can probably say it is a conspiracy theory, especially because her husband was known for his tolerance on LBGT matters (that I do not really support), so maybe he even would have made this public and his supporters probably would have voted him as well, maybe even appreciated his honesty. You can never be sure how forward/backward America is. Or was. Of course, if it was true, then Barack should have admitted it right away during the 2016 election, but as none of that has surfaced by now, we can be sure that, even if it is true, it will never be made public. But it is not that important either. Honestly, if it was the case, I couldn't care less. What we should be talking about instead, are the many many failures Obama came up with during his eight years in office, most of which Trump is trying his best now to make up for. The only reason why I do not give this little movie here a thumbs-down is because there was some probably unintentional comedy to it here and there with how the narrator keeps saying "he", "his" and "him" when it comes to Michelle. Or the one reference about the two sharing a bed was pretty hilarious as well. Or when the husband eventually comes into play and starts talking about his experiences with members from the LBGT community and how it all fits Michelle. Okay, I could have done without the reference to Christianity in the end, but it's okay. The Obama nation / abomination parallel makes more than up for it I suppose. I also cannot deny that there was a little schadenfreude from my side in here to see what the Obamas have to accept being attributed to them, but they kinda deserve it and had it coming with how much they (or Barack especially) damaged American politics and economy for almost a decade. Besides, I do not like Serena Williams at all, so I was also somewhat entertained by her parts. Nonetheless, the fact that I don't like the Obamas and this very successful tennis player does not cloud my judgment to an extent where I would say that it all makes sense. So yeah, best is probably if you skip the watch here. I give it a thumbs-down and genuinely wonder how people come up with stuff like that. The mind is a mystery for sure. Only worth seeing for guilty pleasure purposes. I say skip.
