I know active high and low pass filters are very accurate and generally didn't need a zobel circuit but would a passive high and low pass with a zobel circuit provide a more nature sound than actives or actives the only way to go?

Also for you tube heads I getting into circuitry mainly audio filters, power stabilization and pondering getting into diy amplifier building. I am wondering are there any tube pre amps that can convert high level input to low level output and what type of distortion would be seen at say 6v output Max on the low level line. I ask cause I thought I read around tubes produce distortion regardless a and if the case can it be lower.

Also I was reading about class a/d amplifiers but can locate one or a circuit diagram to compare with a class a and class d to see the implementation of hybrid setup

transformer was huge

Yep. Welcome to yesterday, it's why we live in today instead.

still prefer the clarity of tubes anyday. might try to source out a butler audio tube amp and just use a dc to 110 converter and enjoy. however i have decided which way im going to go with my trucks sub bass and will just build a 3d polygon which cuts through truck bed header and cabin then i can start with one sub and as i buy more add them to the polygon unbtil i have 4 18's in free-air. will retain both my read seats and gain all my space back.

ill probably grab a raspberry pi 5 and add to ADC hats and found 2 4 channel output DAC hats so i can also enjoy the dsp featues of the RPI5 plus i have a radio dash kit for my truck to install a 9" screen for a nice multimedia setup. i think ill even be able to use the harness i have to retain swc functions

clarity

That was never my experience with a vacuum amp, but to each his own.

i know your into electronics and such do you mess with Raspberry Pi's or stick to old vintage electronics?

curious how hard it would be to code a wiring harness jumper hat to hardwire the rpi and its hats to my trucks interface. i actually have a full wiring harness for a aftermarket android radio i bought that die during a bootloader unlock lol. i have a 9inch lcd but from my understanding unless you know exact make and model good luck finding drivers for it to work so ill have to find a monitor and make it work.

ford has the forscan program that can let you disable and enable and reconfig most of the trucks after 2010 mine has some features such as disable radio so i dont need modules to intergrate or have truck go into protect mode.
