Let's be realistic here. The EU just can't afford any other "xit", polxit or whatever xit, just can't. Especially one without vaseline; it sets a dangerous political precedent for a start, during a very very very fragile financial and economical situation where there's little to no room for a market rollercoaster ride (lockdown costs+existing deficits+fucked economy). And if they fine poland, not only they'll likely have to sit on the tab at least for a little while and what is the EU they going to do about it? Invade poland? With what? There's no EU army.
